What I do
MGB Insights works with business owners and managers to understand workplace concerns, identify what is driving the problem and help establish a practical way forward. Support can include early intervention in workplace disagreements, difficult conversations, communication breakdowns, employee concerns, recurring workplace issues and situations where an independent perspective could help prevent matters escalating. The emphasis is on listening, understanding the facts, improving communication and finding sensible, workable solutions.

Ideal for small and growing businesses with approximately 2–50 employees across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, particularly those without their own dedicated HR department or established employee-relations support. Whether you run a retail business, garage, hospitality venue, care or service business, small manufacturer, logistics operation or professional practice, MGB Insights provides an experienced and independent perspective when managing a people issue becomes difficult. The aim is simple: identify problems earlier, improve communication and help resolve workplace issues fairly and practically.
What you receive
Depending on the situation, you will receive a free initial confidential discussion and independent assessment of the issue, followed by practical observations, suggested next steps and clear recommendations. Where appropriate, this can include support preparing for difficult conversations, identifying areas of misunderstanding or conflict, reviewing how an issue has developed and helping management establish practical actions to move the situation forward. Support can be provided for an individual workplace issue or as ongoing preventative workplace support for smaller businesses that would value access to an experienced independent sounding board.
